Welcome to Calipetro's!! Calipetro's is locally owned by Keith and Jeanette Calipetro. It is our goal to serve Lee's Summit with great quality Italian favorites at family affordable prices. We want our guests to enjoy the food from appetizer to dessert, in an attractive, relaxing atmosphere.
Jeanette and I are very blessed to have found "Honkerbean's" and feel the Italian Gelato and specialty coffees are a great compliment to the Italian Cafe' that we have dreamed of opening.
Our name and our menu are inspired by my friend and Father-In-Law, Bob Micheletti. While growing up in Toledo, Ohio, Bob and Jean gave me my first opportunity to work in their restaurant, "It's Italian". I went from washing dishes and bussing tables, to learning how to be a chef. The experiences I had started me on a journey that has given me experience in every aspect of the restaurnat business, except owning my own, until now. My goal is to honor Bob and Jean and the original "It's Italian".
