Jim Burton, owner of Dar Dane Construction Co., Inc. is the exclusive builder for the Cottages at Cedar Creek and Cedar Creek Village located at the corner of Ward and Longview roads in Lee's Summit.
Burton began his career in the building business in 1968 after returning from his tour of duty in the U.S. Armed services. He and his wife, Linda Burton, started Dar-Dane Construction in 1987, and since have built quite a following of wonderful clients throughout the Lee's Summit area.
''We like to extend personalized attention to our clients'', Jim Burton said. ''When I build your home, I work for you. It's a one-on-one relationship. I don't have a superintendent. It's just you and me all the way.
